Skyview

Frequently Asked Questions

1. I did not receive a copy of the CC&R when I bought my property. Where can I find it?

- Copies of all documents for Skyview Homeowners Association are available for download on this website.

2. I did not know about the CC&R or other documents when I bought my propoerty. Do I need to comply with them since i did not know?

- YES. Purchasing property within the Skyview Subdivision creates a legally binding obligation to adhere to the CC&R and any other documents regarding the Subdivision. The COVENANTS, CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS document was created and put in place in 1994, and all property owners agree to comply when they sign for their property - even if they did not have a copy of it or were informed in advance.

3. Where do my Homeowners Association dues go?

- Dues are used to maintain the Common Area as outlined in the CC&R. All property owners pay into maintenance of the Common Area and other costs associated with maintaining the Subdivision. All property owners and their families are eligible to use the Common Area and walking paths. Not using the Common Area does not excuse payment of dues. Refer to the CC&R for details.

4. I rent a house in Skyview. Do I have to follow the rules?

- The property owner is directly responsible for persons on their property to follow the rules and communicating the rules to renters at time of completing the rental documents. In many cases, that is not done, and the CC&R are avaialble from this website. Writtne notice of noncompliance or infractions of the CC&R are sent to the property owner; however, we prefer to be in communication with renters so that any questions or issues may be resolved as quickly  and easily as possible.

As additional questions come up, they will be posted with their answers.
